What would you highlight about Adhyatma Villa

This place is an absolute disgrace. We had no running water for the first two days, the staff did not speak English and the management was not interested in helping, he did not answer our calls or those made by booking.com on our behalf. The taps in two of the bathrooms didn’t work and had a ‘broken’ sign on them. The safe in our room was broken and we had money and jewellery missing from our luggage!!! We were here for a hens night and our experience was completely ruined by this place. Do yourself a favour and don’t fall for the photos of this place, they were taken years ago, you do not get what you pay for at all. The only thing about this place that doesn’t suck completely is the location and the spa around the corner.

The staff were so lovely! Breakfast cooked for us in the morning was great. Beds were really comfortable and cleaning throughout stay was kept up well.

Shower facilities were poor. You had to sit in the bath to wash yourself (the plug didn't work either) and water pressure was pretty bad. All 3 safes were broken so we had no where to keep passports etc.

The pool area and the staff was friendly. Location good.

The state of the property! It was run down, dark and uninviting. Lights blown and broken (staff tried to fix on day two but no luck) kitchen doors falling off, walls dirty, bed linen had rips in it, water damage up the walls and no television reception, the list goes on! Breakfast always cold - not the correct facilities available for the staff to have all the food ready at the same time.This villa could be nice again with a little maintenance, paint job, new linen an update to bathrooms and kitchen - then it would be worth the amount paid!

The pool is clean and its a big place for 6pax.

The bed sheets and towel are stained. There was a centipede in the bath tub. The walls paint needs to be refurnished.

Not much unfortunately. Nice villa, nice setup, but very bad experience overall (see other section for details).

“Disgusting” is the only word that comes to my mind... When we arrived at this villa, we were greeted by two young men who did not speak a word of English. The communication was impossible so we had no information about the operation of the villa, their role, the preparation of meals (which was to be included), or activities to be done in the area. When we decided to go to bed in the evening, we realized that the bed sheets were dirty (black marks and hair) and the bathrooms had not been cleaned since the previous rental. We were unable to communicate with the personnel. They always had to contact their boss. They ended up finding clean sheets and changing bedding. It was past midnight before us and the kids could finally go to bed. The beds were not provided with mosquito nets as in the photos of the site, although there were mosquitos and lizards in the rooms. The following days were an accumulation of problems which made things worse. First, the drains did not work in the main shower, in one of the baths, and in a number of sinks. Everything was completely clogged in the two bathrooms downstairs. Then the water in the swimming pool turned green on the third day because the staff did not know how to take care of it. Cleaning was not done in the bathrooms during our entire stay. Bath towels and beach towels wer not changed once. A lady was on hand only in the morning to prepare breakfast, or sort of... for five days we were served cold toasts, with rotten fruits and jam, along with some mayonnaise they were keeping out of the fridge all day despite it being about 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside... eggs were cooked at 7am, left on the counter, with flies having a blast with them, and then served hours later around 10am. The kitchen counter was dirty and covered with crockery and the garbage was smelling. Needless to say, we all ended up being sick, in bed, losing two days of our vacation in Bali. Nothing was changed despite us raising the issue.

Nice pool

Entrance was awful and rooms had iffy air con. Not what u think by looking at the pictures. There are many options in Bali look elsewhere! Brekky was average at best staff do good job but mgmt needs to take action to improve this place!

What would you highlight about Adhyatma Villa

The manager arranged for us to stay at another villa nearby after the first night which was good. The staff were friendly, I felt sorry for them as it wasn't anything they could control. I'm sure if the place is fixed up it will be great, but currently not good value for money.

We only stayed for one night. We arrived and it was not what we expected. The place was mold infested, we would have got sick if we stayed any longer. The pool area was nice but that was about it. The rooms stunk, the kitchen was atrocious. We didn't want to stay the first night but had no choice as we moved the next day.

The villa was lovely & the staff were amazing. We had a cleaner that cleaned everyday/all day (was there before we woke up & stayed until around 4pm) he also cooked us breaky when we wanted it. Would deffs stay there again with my group of friends Perfect location only a small moped ride to cocoon

Stairs were very steep to the up stairs bedroom!!!

What would you highlight about Adhyatma Villa

The young house boy was extremely helpful. All other staff were not helpful when we asked for assistance. Once they receive the money you pay they don't want to help after that.

We asked for assistance to be moved to a more appropriate villa from the moment we arrived and were simply ignored. We paid for massages and never received them. We paid for an airport transfer and never received it. Do not ever order groceries through these managers as they inflate the prices and charge you 3 or 4 times the amount. Our stay was ruined by being positioned adjacent to a building site. Drilling from 7am well into the early hours of the morning. Dust and smoke filling out villa. We asked it to stop and were ignored. We were also kept awake by the nightclub over the road blaring music until 3am. Our family wth small young children did not get much sleep. We paid $330 per night for a terrible experience and no support was offered to us from either booking.com or VHM management. We would never stay with this management company again. Our holiday was completely ruined because of the accomodation and we were offered no assistance or compensation. Customer service is terrible.
